EQUIPMENT
Triadic has based its software and services around IBM iSeries and Power Server equipment. The primary reasons for using IBM is the reliability of the equipment, the excellent service reputation, ease of use, and IBM's willingness to service their equipment any where in New Mexico.
To excel in today's competitive environment, solutions must be delivered to the customer faster than ever, with higher quality. In the information technology industry, however, the "right" solution means different things to different people. Some think of it in terms of state of the art client/server and openness solutions, while others think of it in terms of a mature and stable platform. For all customers, resources must be focused, so they can concentrate on business needs, not inventing and managing the system.
To meet these dynamic customer needs, IBM's operating system provides the tools to handle three computing environments. Enhancements for the highly successful iSeries and Power Server environment continue to build on proven function. The second environment provides for ethernet attachments. This allows for PC devices to be attached via ethernet cabling utilizing either TCP/IP, or external client servers. The third environment, client/server, has been greatly enhanced. These enhancements include performance, adherence to industry standards, and database support. All three client-server options extend the IBM system integration by supporting the popular options for PC file, print, application, and internet solutions for LANs. All approaches are flexible and contribute to IBM's reputation for reliability and ease of use. Workstations can include: terminals, intelligent workstations, or personal computers (PC's) with installed emulation or Ethernet cards attached either through GUI emulation or Client Access (Client Access is a software package provided by IBM). PC networks can be attached via Ethernet.
